Bridges Global Mission is Christian nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope and opportunity to children and families in underserved communities across India and around the world.
We believe that true transformation begins with education — equipping children not only with knowledge and skills, but with a Biblical foundation that nurtures the whole child.
Through holistic discipleship, we work to break cycles of poverty with the conviction that every individual, made in the image of God, deserves the chance to flourish in spirit, mind, and body.
OUR HISTORY
Our connection with India began in 2010 when James Park accompanied Alan and Sally Keiran on a mission trip to South India. As the Lord directed their journey, they spent time with orphans at Light Children Home and visited local villages. God opened doors and the Spirit moved powerfully, as many people were touched by God’s Presence and surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ.
Birth the Fire Ministries was started in March 2015 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Virginia. In 2020, the ministry was renamed Bridges Global Mission to partner with our ministry family in India to build and establish Global Mission Bible College.
Bridges Global Mission exists to fulfill the Great Commission, to equip and disciple individuals and communities to transform culture and society with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
